How do you give editorial content a distinct voice in social feeds while preserving the experience of a luxury magazine?
For Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove’s semi-annual lifestyle publication The Living Kitchen (TLK), I translated their existing visual language into a versatile social design system. It pairs edge-to-edge headlines in their typeface, Chronicle Display, with a color block sampled from the hero image’s palette. Since Sub-Zero’s colors are limited to white, black, and red, the pop of color becomes instantly recognizable as TLK content. Additional elements, like the recipe card or design-object feature, draw from the tactile process of interior, fashion, and graphic designers by overlapping textures, imagery, and notes. This flexible layout system allows TLK content to be shared digitally while retaining it’s sophistication.
